what a pathetic update. Tell us where the break/fracture is, what degree, etc. Com’on

I know it’s really frustrating they can’t give us a legit update. I’m wondering if that just means it’s up to how quickly he heals. Doesn’t sound like a major break. But that’s just my feeling. It was clearly a bone on the upper outside of his foot from seeing the shot. Not an ankle or a heel or something on the bottom that could be troubling.

Like I said I think hank comes out and has a big game. Because for him honestly what’s the alternative? He comes in with a below or even average game and he might as well call it a career. He’ll go right back to the bench if that’s the case. I think no matter what he’s going to be bought out. But if he proves something here it means a team could take a shot at him next year. If he shows nothing. Who’s signing him? Frolunda that’s who. He’s basically done.

he’s gotta know it. He’s going to give everything today.

This is probably major hyperbole but holy moly does this game have huge implications on Hanks legacy.

I dont envy the guy. Sitting for so long and now being thrown to the wolves with the expectations of the team and all the fans on his shoulders.

I have faith in him but oh boy what I would give to be able to read his mind right now.

.

it’s kinda hyperbole lol

his legacy is cemented. If he pitches a shutout or goes on a bit of a run helping the Rangers make the playoffs it can only enhance his legacy IMO. If he loses, he just got old yet that doesn’t erase his resume

Henrik has always come up big when it counts. I was privileged that I got to see him live (coming from Dublin, that's a bigger deal than it sounds).

He'll do it one more time today.

Yes. What you said is a huge hyperbole. A regular season game at the age of 37, in reality, has next to nothing to do with his legacy.

He has played nearly 130 playoff games. This game means very little in the grand scheme of his career.

As already stated, this is way hyperbolic. This will not be Hank's last game at MSG, and has no bearing on his legacy. Did people already forget the past 14 years?

You are both right. Major hyperbole indeed. Emotions running high today.

I understand why Hank is playing but this is not a recipe for anything but a disaster. Past his prime goalie playing for the first time in forever.

Hank will be fine. I have Faith. We all know hank and his head. If he knows how important this game is he’ll play.
