I have no idea how the Caps are winning games.
That is not an impressive lineup.

Strome is a middle six center, so is Dubois.
Lapierre is a ??? Late first rd pick who didn't do much in injury prone Q seasons, finally a good AHL campaign last year. Middle six potential.

Protas young middle six forward, Ovechkin getting long in the tooth, Mangiapane is solid middle six,
McMichael is more 4th line, Vrana is a head case. Dowd is a 4th line center.

Good first pair with Chychrun - Carlson (if Chychrun stays healthy)
But Sandin - TVR, Fehervary - McIlrath are not good D depth.

Thompson and Lindgren are middle of the pack goalies.
