I thought that was the hardest game we played competing-wise, battle-wise and system-wise — we have to stay out of the box.
That game could have gone either way and we have to look at it that way. I thought we responded well after two poor games.
- Ryan Callahan

The good thing about hockey is it can turn around so fast.
Sometimes you live in it so much, you feel the way you play. I always do. It could be a good thing and it could be a bad thing.
- Henrik Lundqvist

It’s been a long trip. We didn’t get the results and we’re not playing the way we want to play.
But there are some signs that we are headed in the right direction, and that’s what we’re going to work on.
- Alain Vigneault

I'm calling it. We get in penalty trouble in the first period and the Caps score a few. The game is barely competitive after that.

If we play as hard as we did against St. Louis until the 3rd period, I don't see why we shouldn't be able to beat a 2-4 team that's struggling almost as badly as us.

show some games vs the Caps to the team before the game to get the blood flowing...

Rangers could beat this team if they remember how to play hockey... im gonna say 2-1 win goals by Brassard and Stralman...

Lundqvist is going to have to come up big to be a chance in this one.

How many PPs courtesy of dorsett will the caps score on?

it's simple. stay out of the ****ing box and the boys win. go to the box and the Caps have already won, their PP is borderline cheating. LGR!

Last game threw my animal name theory out the window.
Thinking they win this though. Not for any logical sensible reason but just because.

Split the next 4 games and I'm somewhat okay with it. Time to get this season started.

I'm as concerned about Falk putting the team in penalty trouble if MDZ can't go as Dorsett. At least Dorsett can be useful if he chills, don't really see that from Falk. Still annoyed they traded for the guy when the Wild weren't going to qualify him and better players ended up having to take PTOs before signing for low cap numbers.

They could've even snagged Urbom off waivers last week and dumped Falk to Hartford. NYR still have waiver priority based on last year's standings. Urbom doesn't get beat to the outside every other time, leading to the inevitable holding penalties. Probably still some untapped potential unlike Falk.

Anyone know where to find a TSN2 feed for the game? I really don't want to watch NBC pathetic showing of a hockey game.

Unfortunately, I have to watch this game with Joe B and Locker, the two local yokels. It is literally unbearable. I will be watching on mute.

Don't take penalties (Washington is at like 80% on the PP or something ridiculous) and we should remain competitive. A win would be big for this team. Gotta get at least one point.

Just a casual 3 day break between games.

With these disastrous road trips the least they could do would be to give us a normal ****ing schedule.
