I unloaded my French Laf Young Guns at the PEAK a few months ago. Made up for passing on GME.
No but it might fix the player development problem. As gung ho as I am to fire Quinn, firing quinn isn't going to fix the center problem.
Dispassionate defensive hockey would at least be not getting f***ing dumpstered by the Sabres. He’s an excellent coach — as a teacher and as a tactician. He’s been accused of being dispassionate, and this inadequate for contenders, but I think that’s an unfortunate stigma that formed during his years with the Senators.
Sometimes there is a weaker draft-class, and there's nothing you can do about it. But Kakko was literaly breaking records in Finland. Won U18, U20 and mens World championships before getting drafted. Lafreniere was talked about being one of the best wingers in years, maybe one of the better Canadian players since McDavid.
Strangely, both have strugled the same way in NY and the NHL.
Preaching to the converted mate. I’ve been a longtime admirer of Martin’s. I can’t think of a coach who has developed as many star skaters as he has — in all positions.Dispassionate defensive hockey would at least be not getting f***ing dumpstered by the Sabres.
The line Miller took to Rieder there looked terrible, but he is a monster who can take whatever lines he wants.
Same exact thing happened to Kakko...Im amazed this is the same kid I’ve watched for 3 years. Looks like a completely different player
Maybe our next lottery pick will actually be a good skater.
