WJC: 5th Annual WJC Pool - Final Standings in Post #270

Edit: Tried to send Paajarvi18 a message but his inbox is full. But its not like we are pressed for time.
 
Lehner's clock runs out 12 hours from the time that Paajarvi edited his post above. So at 7:13 PM ET Vankiller Whale can pick.

Not that it's overly important or anything since Vankiller needs 2 forwards and Lehner needs 2 D but for the sake of order and whatnot, if we had less time we could have tried to take shortcuts in the last round.
 
If anyone saw the title as "g" for a second there you were not dreaming. I did some weird accidental voodoo edit I didn't even realize was possible.

Anyway Lehner's clock has run out. Vankiller is up, and once he picks it's back to Paajarvi if Lehner still hasn't
 
93LEAFS PM'd me to inform me he's picking American Goalie Joseph Woll.

First time ever I believe we've had 3 goalies from the same team picked. Be interesting to see how this whole American goalie situation breaks down.
 
Torn between two guys here for final pick...

I'll take Kieffer Bellows I suppose....hopefully he is put in a scoring role for me playing with some of my other 3 American forwards.

I'm thinking about solving this situation using the "Tonya Harding Method". Does anybody know where I can get a good deal on a knee-bashing baton?

I was gonna go with someone else, and then said screw it, lets go back to my good ol' reliable Latvian hockey factory.

He had 6 points in 6 games at the Elite level U18 tournament with this age group 2 years ago, was an NHL draft pick and putting up ~0.5 ppg in the NCAA as a defenseman so the numbers suggest maybe he's ok?

Fun Fact: The Latvian preliminary roster has a combined 64 first and last names. Custe is one of only 7 that doesn't end in an 's'. 5 of the other 6 are also defenseman. If you're born in Latvia without a name ending in s, don't even think about playing goalie or forward
 
Once tigervixxxen picks then 93LEAFS is up with both of his replacement picks, after that if someone gets cut prior to the tournament starting replacement picks are first come first serve. Once the tournament starts your teams are locked even if they have cut or injured players on them.

You can only replace players who you can prove will not be on the tournament roster
