WJC: 5th Annual WJC Pool - Final Standings in Post #270

Last time I took a Russian D and Czech F, this time I'm reversing it with F Alex Polunin and D Jakub Zboril.

Side note: All of your defensemen with names starting with "Zbo" are belong to me.

Polunin was another one of the guys on my list of 5, and I've been thinking about picking him for a while just haven't pulled the trigger. Not many Russia forwards getting picked. I think he probably ends up playing with Kaprizov and they could go haywire

Just an FYI, you've picked all your defensemen now so your final 4 picks have to be 3 forwards and a goalie.

Even though we know Girard won't be there and thus you need another defenseman you can't pick that defenseman until the replacement draft at the end.

Fox was also on my radar for my next defenseman, The tourney D is getting pretty thin

A team chosen by Canada4Gold needs its token Canadian. I'll take Mitchell Stephens.

I figure he's probably going to be on the 3rd line, but Bobby Mac seems to be always thinking of him as a 2nd liner so put him with Barzal and watch the magic

Here's the funny thing. As a guy in a hockey pool, you're always trying to scoop a good player late. Yet when I get to these guys I sometimes talk myself out of them when I start asking "Why hasn't anyone else taken this guy by now? Do they know something I don't?". It's weird how that works sometimes.

Leafs draft pick in 2015. 68th overall IIRC. Playing for Rourn-Noranda(did I spell that right) in the Q. Over PPG last year and this year

Gah! I was going to take Dzierkals with my last pick, thought he was under the radar lol. I'm a big fan of Rouyn-Noranda. He's a fun speedy skilled kid. I don't know if he's healthy though, that was my only concern. I guess he hasn't left for camp yet and he hasn't been playing. I don't think it's serious though.
