[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

Yeah that’s the way we need to play, get it deep and forecheck hard and I think we’re at our best when we do that and play a simple game.
I think we did that for the most part but obviously some parts of the game we’re not happy with. It’s going to happen.
It’s over now, it’s a new game tomorrow and we have to focus on that.
- Mats Zuccarello

I don’t think consistently through 60 minutes we played the way we needed to.
It was kind of in spurts and when we got opportunities, obviously you’ve got to score on them and that was the difference.
- Ryan Callahan

The winning goal was five guys on ice getting beat to loose pucks. Them protecting the puck and finding an open man all alone in the slot.
We’re trying to block a shot and it goes off our stick and in but there were five puck battles, we lost them all and it was in the back of the net.
Tomorrow we’re playing against the best in our conference so we’re going to have to be real good.
- Alain Vigneault

Is it time to switch Kreider and Hagelin 5v5 btw? The top-6 hasn't exactly been clicking lately and Hagelin-Stepan-Nash was arguably the 2nd best 5v5 line in the league last year, I would like to give them an opportunity to rekindle that magic.

No better time than now to show that you know what it means to show up for a game.

Close the Penguins' window.

Orpik still a pylon? Check
Letang not playing? Check

Awaiting disappointment after last night.

which 4th liner from the Penguins will score tonight?? they usually do.

watch Taylor Pyatt score tonight :amazed:

Kreider-Stepan-Nash are giving me a migraine. In favor of switching Hagelin and Kreider.

It's time for Stepan to remember how to pass and shoot

Pens ***** us with their jr league team earlier this season.

I predict we lose by 7 goals. 8-1 probably

It's almost hard to believe that we swept Pitt in their barn in 2010/11. CEC is like Mellon Arena all over again.

It would suck to go into the break with 2 straight regulation losses.

Hags - Stepan - Nash
Kreider - Brass - Zucc
Pouliot - Richards - Cally
Boyle - Moore - Carcrash

Lets do this

I've been an advocate for this for a while. However, Stepan is the one that's really bringing that line down this season. Kreider hasn't played great as of late either so I am in favor of the switch, but Stepan has been bad.

Scratch Stepan, recall JT :yo:

I'd go one further and switch Kreider with Pouliot. Richards needs someone to do the dirty work and feed him the puck. Along with Cally, that could be an effective line.
I wouldn't change the Brass, Zuc, Poo line. They have been very consistent.

Hopefully the Rongos can like, not suck today. Yeah, that'd be good.

Also, how the **** do the penguins win with Tanner Glass on their first line?

I wouldn't change the Brass, Zuc, Poo line. They have been very consistent.

You are right, they have been. The reason I figured Kreider would be a good fit is that he brings the same qualities that Poo does on that line, only he is a more speedy version of him, stronger body, and can make better passes.

First line desperately need a reboot, Kreider needs some points for confidence, and Pouliot, while the odd man out, will not be out of place with richie and cally

Tanner Glass on the Penguins first line

Hoping for a good game and not like the last time the Rangers played them.

if Mike Rupp can get a hat trick vs Rangers, it wont shock me if Glass did tonight :help:

Huh? I'm guessing it's a "In the end I wouldn't want to switch up the line" comment but you said both contradicting statements so definitively that I thought it was funny

He responded to a post with the line: Kreider - Brass - Zucc

He liked that proposed line-up, but with Poo back on that line, instead of Kreider

It's tough to say you should break up Pouliot-Brassard-Zucc right now (read, they shouldn't), but I would like to see Kreider with those 2.

Move Hagelin up with Stepan and Nash.
