Because they are examples of teams that had good records but poor advanced stats. It is backing up my point that advanced stats provide important context to a team's wins and lose records. Something you don't seem to believe. Since you seem to weigh your opinion primarily on a team's record based on your statement "The only stat that really means anything is wins and losses."

At the end of the day what matters is wins, losses, championships. Depending on your job, sure, stats (whether advanced or unadvanced) are useful tools. Scouts, coaches... stats are probably pretty important to them in the course of doing their jobs. Team owners? They probably put just a bit more emphasis on the end result.
Don't take what you read on a message board so literally...
