Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. In '90's job, our unit-head was a guy named Leon K, when he would give the quarterly results, I'd always hear George in my head:
"... a couple numbers from Leon"
and whenever I momentarily forget something obvious, my mind reminds:
"...I've forgotten Billy Preston..."
(and Eric always seems happiest and more natural when not center of attention)

but I did get to see George at MSG in '74.

Great memories. Concert for Bangladesh to this day stands the test of time as one of if not one of the best most important live shows ever as it was the impetus for epic charity events such as Live Aid, Farm Aid etc etc that followed.
I recall my Mom taking me to the movie theatre when it came out on film...I was I think 9-10 years old and I was just kind of getting into music than and I recall thinking what a great concert this must have been to be at. The songs "Wa Wa" and "My Sweet Lord" are still go to songs for me today to watch on YouTube every now and again....so damn good!
Quick aside. Not sure if you or anyone knew this but I have read that the only reason Clapton, who had terrible heroin addiction at the time showed up was because George promised him that he would cop some heroin for him as Clapton said he wouldn't play at the benefit unless he had some.
Well George apparently made the arrangements and Clapton tho zoned out, was magnificent and played an integral part of what was an awesome show.
