We need to simplify the offense. No one is handling the puck well. They need to go to the net harder. crash the net, get pucks on the net.

Lastly, this team plays afraid when they have the lead. Just soft, no one wants possession. Everyone cares more about their positioning than being hard on the puck and moving their legs.
 
This team needs a coach like torts to run guys through hell in training camp if they’re out of shape. So many guys look like shit.

Torts got more out of his teams with much much less

You also cant win playing weak perimeter hockey and not generating any real scoring chances. How many tough saves did they have to make?

Kakko, Chytil, Fox, and Miller are looking great.

We've been the better team in 4 out of 5 games.

Trouba looks better.

Like I said, Lafreniere wasn't 0-0-0, I'd be A+ right now.

And even Laf feels like he’s had moments where he’s right there, but to no avail.

After Lundqvist was already a vezina nominee the season before? And ended up being a vezina nominee that season as well?

You’re going to have to excuse people for maybe wanting to pump the brakes on the anointing of Igor coming on the heels of a 15 year career of literally an all time great. Igor is most likely the real deal but some of the talk about him was a little much.

We're this year's Devils. #1 pick, super hyped up and comer in the offseason, start he season out miserably and led by a poor coach. Season over after 2 weeks.

We’ve got 3 regulation losses in 5 games and in all 3 our goaltending has been a joke. That’s got to get sorted out it should be a strength of this team

Mika kreider strome DeAngelo and I’ll add panarin. Those 5 playing the way they’re playing will tear the ass out of this team quickly if they don’t wake up

Agree on you first point but they do not do that. They never drive the net or put pucks on net.

On your second point they play that way with the lead, when tied and when losing.
