That's absurd. I went to college in central NY so I dealt with this for those 4 years as well. It's brutal. This was 2007-2011 so it was before tons of streaming options were available too.

I got savaged on Twitter for for saying I'm okay with Lemieux sitting as I don't think he's done much this year, and reiterating what I say here all the time: that he chases the play too much and could be more effective if he wanted to be.

I'm also old and pay $200+ per month for cable--and Netflix and Hulu and HBO Max. I also pay for ESPN+. And get other random shit like Peacock. I'm old and like paying too much for things I don't watch.

They're just usually on the younger side of things and good jobs to boot. Media agencies are also on the younger side but I don't consider those great jobs.

I’m 31 and I’m one of the younger people in my office. Like 5 or 6 ppl in mid to late 20s, maybe 10 in mid 30s and like 30-40 people in their 40s or 50s.
