[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I think the way we started the game helped everyone in here. We’ve got the crowd going, we got ourselves going.
We talked about going into this game, they played last night so we wanted to play hard and set the tone.
The early goals really helped us, even though they had a really strong 1st period, we kept making good decisions and we kind of took over the momentum for sure in the 2nd period.
Just overall a really good effort here.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Obviously, there’s extra incentive when a team doesn’t want you anymore, you want to play well.
I’m finishing hits and they have no jump and there’s only so many times you can ask a guy before something happens. About the 15th time and five different players.
Maybe not the best spot to do it but we seemed to respond pretty well.
- Dan Carcillo

We talked prior to going on the ice to put pressure on their defense, which we did. We created a couple of turnovers and it’s nice to finish early with a couple of those chances.
I thought tonight was one of his better efforts five on five as far as generating quality chances. Hopefully, it’s a step in the right direction.
- Alain Vigneault

Should probably give St. Louis as many breakaways as possible.
Disagree.

Aside: Rangers have scored PP goals in 5 straight games (6 total). The Lightning have allowed a powerplay goal in 5 straight games (8 total).

Zuke had 1 goal and 2 assists the last time we played them..

Hope he continues tonight..

Also hoping that Nash and Henke continue theire game lately and that Steps finds his..

Every singe time we play a big goalie like bishop. EVERY single time, It makes me think of the game zherdev ROOFED a backhander in the crease against Atlanta i believe and the goalie was something gigantic like 6'5

First rangers game tonight, excited would be an understament!

What time do people usually head to the garden for?

Depends on what you are looking to do. Most people get to the garden around 6:20 so they can see warmups. If you are of age, there's great places to hangout across the street from the Garden

Get drunk before the game... I didn't think we we're that bad :shakehead

They let you into the building one hour prior to game time ... Lots of bars outside to hit up or resturants ... If you are looking to eat expect to wait at least 15-30 minutes for table usually

is Bishop definetly starting? Either way I think the Rangers are on a roll and despite their difficulties against Bishop I think this will be the game that they figure him out

Didn't we beat them up last time, who was in the net? Lindbäck have played great lately as well.

lindback was in net and they were coming off a back to back. Not taking away anything that the Rangers have done recently but the last 3 opponents have had a back to back
