[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

They came out better and faster than us in the second period, but I thought we responded well.
It was a good and solid road game.
- Mats Zuccarello

The games are just getting tighter and tighter. Today, against one of the best teams in the league, we had to be sharp with everything. This is a big one for us.
To play such a good team with the position we’re in, desperate for points, it’s a great feeling the way we played and we got rewarded. You can’t expect things to go your way for 60 minutes against a team like this.
But at the start of the third period we played really well. It felt like we had some confidence playing this game.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Beating the Stanley Cup champions in this building is not an easy task.
We knew it would take our best effort, and it did.
- Alain Vigneault

Haven't seen much of Dallas this year. Watched yesterday's game but the devils really shut them down well. Looking forward to seeing their youngsters.

As for the Rongos, this screams letdown.

When we see Cam? I miss him. Play Cam vs the worse teams. Preserve Hank.

Looks like Dallas gives up a lot of shots.

NYR are not in a situation where they can relax; a win can put them back in thid but all these teams have games in hand.

with 37 games to play, they need to be looking at least 43 points to get to 90 to have a decent shot at the playoffs; you're looking at 20-14-3 the rest of the way.

NYR have 47 points in 45 games, they had 56 points in 48 games all last season. We are behind the 8 ball.

Selective urgency. That's when they play their best.

Dallas has lost 4 in a row and played really bad last night. History shows that it does not bode well for us tonght. Just sayin' :sarcasm:

Metro teams have all been playing well too. Just read that since Sunday, teams in the Metro are 12-0-2 with the 2 OTL's being against other Metro teams. Seems like everyone is starting to play good hockey so the Rangers can't afford any slip ups now.

Got a feeling we might start to play well here for a stretch but will is everyone else. Might have a nice stretch here but not gain any ground because thats how it works.

Philly game will be important. If we win tonight and beat Philly Sunday that will be a plus.

This MUST be a complete 60 minute effort from the Rangers.

Nothing short of that will suffice.

LGR.

7-0 win, I expect nothing less.

Watch out for Big D though, Benn-Seguin-Nichushkin is deadly. You can blink and they'd have scored twice on you.

Lets go Rongos
