The biggest weaknesses on the roster right now are inexperience from the young kids (Miller, Laf, Kakko, Chytil) and the third pairing.

Both of those are set to improve in following years. All the kids should get better as they grow up. We've got good defensive reinforcements coming.

Washington needs to beat Philly. Give them less incentive to play hard against us.

He's not going to go for futures.
And teams are never, ever, ever trading those young 1st round center prospects with a flat cap and how much centers matter.

But he'll probably go for a gritty guy who can actually play and a grit d man who can also sorta play. So there's that.
 
You can tell Vally is liking being savage to players too much.

Like its a payback is a bitch thought process for basically being a AAAA in his career.

That NMC is making it pretty hard though, I think we all agree that if we need to get rid of a winger it should be Kreider.
 
Fun argument on the Devils board about how the Rangers won't be contenders because of the timeline of kids and Panarin and apparently our D is nothing special outside of Fox even though we have a top 2 defensive prospect pool and Lindgren Miller are solid top 4 guys.

They should, but it's gonna be tough to ramp their production if the depth chart stays the way it is. Hard to see any of the kids taking significant opportunity from Panarin, Kreider, Buch, and even Blackwell now especially with the same staff behind the bench.
 
26 years old... we've seen him for multiple NHL seasons now and prior to that waited for him to come over. #feelingold
