Some interesting footage there, usually you just see them singing the anthem. For Canada's first (realistically second) time actually sending an all star team it was a fairly workmanlike group. Good for them winning and pretty much starting Canada's WJC tradition.

And the Gold Standard ever since. I recall and celebrated every single Team Canada gold medal performance (of which there have been many) except for the one that started it all.

Congrats.. worst part of this is that I thought 40 years ago was the 50's and not the 80s. Feeling old!
