QUOTES TO NOTE:

We were the spoiled ones, I think.
There was nothing out there that hindered us from playing hockey.
The pregame stuff, the warm-ups, the anthem, the bald eagle, the flyover, those are moments you can’t beat.
And looking around into the stands from the bench, just taking it all in, I was smiling during just about the whole game.
- Kevin Shattenkirk

That's a pretty surreal moment, really special.
In front of 40,000 people, that's something you can only dream about.
- J.T. Miller

Our 5 on 5 game was good.
But we lost a bit of our momentum because of the penalties we took.
Our PP came up big in OT.
- Alain Vigneault

For what it's worth the NY Post (Cyrgalis) had Miller at LW on the Zibanejad line and Nash at RW on the Hayes line at Tuesday's practice.

I’m surprised Miller is at LW. He looked really good at RW with Grabner and Hayes

That 2nd power play unit is one of the worst I have ever seen. Miller on the 1st unit might be alright.

Its too bad AV loves Vesey because Lettieri makes way more sense on that 2nd power play unit. Not to mention Hayes

hayes not playing on the powerplay is mind boggling and quite frankly the one thing jesper fast has shown offensively is a great ability to get to the net tip the puck and also shoot off the pass well.

with his righty shot you'd think it would be another no brainer to put him on the pp.

Gotta get Vesey his PP time instead.

Almost at the halfway point. What a season so far.
Winning 3 out of the next 4 before the break is more than doable. (Is that a legit word?)
No game is easy, but we need 6 maybe 7 pts, before a very rough stretch which include California trip. 4 home, 8 away in January.

Hayes not getting PP in favor of Vesey and DD is mind blowing.
Really is, but if he did play PP, and also his PK minutes would push him closer to 18-20 minutes. Wonder if he's ever played that much. Must be a legit reason from AV. Maybe because he is too slow? Lol.
