Slovakia beat Germany 7-3 first game. Petrovsky hat trick and Mesar 3 assists. This is without the 2 best 04s in Slovakia as well.

This swiss goalie is quite good, keeping them in the game. Slovaks should be up 5-1, it’s 2-1 right now. Shots 21-7

This is a really nice group of players Slovakia has there. This German U16 team has some good players (lacking depth though) but they were clearly outclassed by Slovakia in that game.
Looking forward to see how all these kids develop.

Yeah nations such as ours have both up and down years, for example you guys have very strong group of 01-02 players as evident by this WJC while we have quite weak. We have strong 04 group, let’s hope both of our prospects develop so that tournaments will be quite competitive

Weak third costs Slovak the game in OT. Will be interesting to see how they play against Finland tomorrow. I really wish Nemec, Slafkovsky, and ciernik would be selected. That way we could see full strength of 04 players
