Leaving Bedard off makes sense, he's been rough this season. Let him use the 'snub' as motivation

Him and Hagel have been playing together all year, and he's a good faceoff PK guy. So probably want the chemistry aspect of it with those 2 in a short tournament.

If I watch it’s because there isn’t anything else worth watching, but zero excitement for it.

Given Russians can play in NHL they should have done another team for them to play on… like an “unaffiliated” team or something.

I am very glad Bedard did not get named. I am hoping he rests and comes back with a new look. I don't understand the point of this 4-nation tournament with the Olympics in a year, nor did I understand the World Cup 2016 that had "Team North America," rendering Team USA and Team Canada meaningless as well (honestly that was just gut-wrenchingly stupid). I frankly find the World Championships more legitimate than this garbage. At least it has inclusivity of all countries without regard to age, and no "continent" teams.

CB does not deserve to make Team Canada anyway right now, and he needs a mental reset.

I have espn+ to watch about 90% of Hawk games...I'm not going to get a cable package for a bs one off tournament. Am I supposed to apologize to you or something...? Weird flex...
