HF Habs: 4 Nations Face-Off: Canada beats Sweden 4-3 (OT)

I wouldn't say I'm excited more mildly interested.

Finland is going to have a rough time unless they get Hasek type goaltending from Saros. Practically their entire defense is injured.

Imo, USA has the best team at all positions.

I think Canada has a stronger forward group than Sweden, but Sweden has the better D group & goaltending. The winner of tonight's game will play USA in finals.
Best center line is Canada and the center line is the backbone of all offensive.

“The intensity just continues to elevate the closer we get to that first game,” Tkachuk said. “I’m super excited to be here. You want to play in these games. This is what you dream about. These best-on-best, must-win games. So the intensity will ramp up very, very fast. And I’m sure it’ll peak right around puck drop for us.”

Looking forward to the 2028 World Cup. I would love to see the following format.

Top 9 countries + 1 World Team.

Canada
Finland
USA
Sweden
Germany
Slovakia
Russia
Switzerland
Czech Republic

The World team would consist of the left over countries. (Denmark,Latvia,Belarus,Austria, etc…)

That's a cool idea. If Russia was excluded (I'm more than okay with that) maybe they can fold the swiss into the world team to make it 8?

living relatively close to the Bell Centre I'm surprised I haven't seen too much going on - except some dummy with Ontario plates and a team Canada jersey draped over his backseat parked illegally on my street.
It has been a f***ing cold February though with a huge snowstorm about to arrive.
I hear it's been banging downtown, so I assume it's probably centred around the high end hotels, restos etc which encircle that area of downtown near the BC.

I will watch and am planning to check this out, it looks very cool and my friend who visited said it was fun.

Fine Art & Hockey - Special Exhibition

It's near the museum of fine arts, so a good walk northwest of the BC

I’ve noticed lately the paint colours on the ice at the Bell Centre are so dull. It’s been dull at Habs games and looks dull again tonight for the 4 Nations.

Can we not afford some proper paint colour to make the blue lines actually look blue and not black?
