I really hope both can take this experience and we see a new side of them in the playoffs.
As for the tournament... I was a skeptic, but yeah, absolutely fantastic hockey and nothing better at point in time than having our anthem played in victory on American soil. Especially in light of the fascistic rhetoric coming out of the White House.
I thought Binnington was actually a little shaky in goal but, credit where it is due, he made the saves when it mattered most. Harley really impressed me... Dallas is incredibly lucky to have him, Lindell, and Heiskanen. Lastly, just like Sid in 2010, it had to be McDavid. It always had to be McDavid.
