I’ve been critically of signing Bennett but after today I’d be on board with letting Tavares walk and signing Bennett and putting Marner and Bennett together. If Florida is willing to trade him, maybe it makes sense to try and acquire him before hand

Matthews has been underwhelming for me in this tournament. But he’s nursing an injury. Defensively he’s been good and transition wise he’s been good, but he’s not really shooting much

Just two assists. On their two goals. 1 of only 4 Americans winning their minutes - the other 3 are his most common linemates. Yeah, he's been okay

Last shift I saw was Marner with the TB duo again and right before that goal Point was back with Stone - McDavid, but was caught on for a double shift with the TB Duo.

That 4th line has been our best statistically... I don't think Konecny/Jarvis makes a huge difference but I agree, my preference would be Konecny.
