Maybe accountability does exist elsewhere.
No reason to think it doesn't exist everywhere.

You’re free to read the thread I quoted. No reason to think it doesn't exist everywhere.
Which should give us a leg upAll of the top players looked toothless against Helle in the first game outside of that one McDavid rush.
Gotta hope they find a way to break through tonight.
Jarvis or Konecny, gotta make sure not to be a negative against your counterparts. Canada wants to make it our superstars against theirs.

Must be from someone on my list, I don't see any on 'Accountability' . I don't believe any organization operates without accountability so I'd probably find the topic silly anyway. The thread on this board, not Twitter.
Really? Surprised there are any changes. Konecny must be too sick.Jarvis in for Konecny tonight. The 4th line was the big issue against the Fins but I would have stuck with the lines.
Hope Jarvis has it in him.

Yeah I read that. Just trying to rationalize the lineup change.Talk of a number of players on every team dealing with illness.
What if we lose?
My Dude...
Yeah I read that. Just trying to rationalize the lineup change.
We win and it just reaffirms our dominance.
We lose and it just sets up the redemption arc for the Olympics.
Been dying for international competition for forever. We all forgot how amazing it is.
Looks like the fact of while Jarvis wasnt great last time vs. the US, Konecny has been flat out the worst forward on the team (possibly due to illness) in soft usage so the change was made.
I would have kept the lines intact myself as its probably tough to find any sort of chemistry in ashort tourney to begin with but this is who we are going with now.
FWIW
Leaf Nation could be cheering for Seth Jarvis just like they cheer for Marner for Canada as Carolina used Leafs 1st round drift pick gifted them when Leafs greenhorn GM blew his budget and then was forces to dump Marleau contract at the expense of that 1st round pick. .

The same can be said for Travis Konecny who was also an original Leafs draft pick traded to gain more picks by Leafs the same naive GM to bring in Travis Dermott, Jeremy Bracco & Martin Dzerikels instead.

Leaf Nation fans could actually have Marner, Jarvis and Travis Konecny all Leafs by rights playing in this tournament for Canada,
How cool would that have been?
Neither is Mitch. He might be more suited for the Olympics where the ice surface is larger and there are more PPs and less physicality. We'd have been better off with Schiefele, Wilson, and Hyman in for Marner, Jarvis and Konecny tonight. Hopefully Bedard, Celebrini, Fantilli and Guenther can also make the Olympic team next year.Well, good in theory but I don’t think Jarvis or Konecny are Team Canada level players so ultimately frustrating…
What if we lose?
Why not? Other posters will do the same thing with Marner. To cope with a loss, I will use the fact that Jordan Binnington was in net as an excuse, whether it's his fault or not.
Being a Leafs fan can be hard when even the little glimpse of success come across as negatives still.Well, good in theory but I don’t think Jarvis or Konecny are Team Canada level players so ultimately frustrating…
