Howden does not deserve the 2nd line opportunity over Lias.

Also Lemieux being scratched is stupid....unless he is hurt and I missed it.

Probably going to sound like a broken record this season but B Smith still at F and now on the “3rd line” is something I was really hoping to not have to endure this season.

But look, a game! LGR. Devils coming out hot against the NYR as usual plus the asinine schedule doesn’t have me feeling too good. But hockey is back.

The lias thing is funny bc if you ask people what hes actually doing that's so good almost no one can answer.

Remember when this place was obsessed with Sami Vat? Even though there was no way all thosepeople actually watched him much.

A lot of folks here just talk out of their butts. The majority tbh.

It's not even a matter of being wrong. Nyr2k has been wrong. Edge has been. But they're smart guys who at least have reason and logic behind the bulk of the stuff they say.

And I'll be the first to say there is logic behind giving lias some time on line 2 bc hes young, the stats look good and it's worth a shot on a developing team that can afford the losses.

But if someone asks what he's actually doing on the ice and you can't answer then you dont know what you're talking about. Unfortunately that does not stop people here
