Kakko's first couple steps are too high IMO. He skates like Gaborik almost.

It'll take a couple of years for him to get noticeably better at skating, if he works hard on it.

Well I guess one positive for Lafreniere so far is he sure helped Miller become a better dman. The kid doesn't look out of place at all. In fact looked like our best dman that period.

Yep. Laf has been super noticeable, but a bit slow to make decisions.

Kakko is also very noticeable tonight, but just looks slow in general.

I like Laf every time he gets involved. Hopefully we will see more of it.

Chytil is skating really hard. Waiting for a bit of a break out from him, but we shouldn’t rush it. Could be a couple of years away.

Also think Howden and the 4th played well.

There were two plays on the PP that died on Strome’s stick as well and a couple other “bloopers” that period. He is really so bad.

Well at least the Rangers are taking shots. What did the Penguins have like 2 shots in the second half of that period?
