Fro I'm going to nitpick on you, your numbers for Dubinsky don't make sense. There's no way he can hit 68 pts with fewer than 40 assists and fewer than 28 goals.

I guess I'm going to be that guy

Goals: Cam 28 (sorry fro :P)

Assists: Wiz 35

Points: Arty with 45

Bobs Save %: .910

GAA: 2.60

Points: 88

Standing in Metro: 5th

Playoffs: Not in

Keys to the season:

1. Start off hot. If we can get Jenner and Johansen and Murray back and already have a good record, we should be in good shape.

2. Young guys stepping in and making immediate contributions. Dano and Wennberg and Chaput can't struggle in their roles. They must be ready

3. Defense needs to carry the load like they did in the lockout year. That year our D and Bob was what almost got us in, it's going to be that way again this year. Hope they're ready

Most goals and how many: Atkinson, 33

Most Assists: Wisniewski, 42

Most points: Johansen, 65

Bob's Save Pct: .922

Bob's GAA: 2.19

Points: 97 :handclap:

Standing in Metro: 2nd

Playoff seed: 4th in the conference; 2nd in Metro

3 Keys to Season: (not including signing Johansen)

Sergei Bobrovski. Has to continue to dominate.

Maintaining identity. Play like they did in the playoffs.

Don't claim Jack Skille on waive...wait, nevermind that one... I'll say get healthy and get the best players on the ice. Including the one I'm not supposed to mention.

Any miscellaneous comments/predictions regarding the season:

Cam Atkinson is ready for a breakout, you can see it. Whether or not it happens is yet to occur obviously, but he looks certainly capable of 30+ goals in this league. I also think Ryan Murray takes another step towards being an elite level defenseman in this league, but he isn't quite there yet. Think of the development path Duncan Keith followed. Lastly, depth has to prevail if this team is going to be successful. Four lines have to roll and everyone has to buy into the game plan. If that happens, 97 points is undoubtedly attainable.

Yeah arithmetic guru.

I actually do want to do a serious research project examining the use of shot +/- as a proxy for "possession", which is what the whole Corsi idea is built on. I don't think its a solid foundation.

Not going to make any predictions on players, and who does what best. My only prediction is with Jenner, Johan, Horton we are a play-off team. Without them we are a bubble team with the improvements made by other teams. Missing our entire first line is a step back. Don't care how you slice it.

We shall see how the season unfolds.

Depth Scoring. It can't be just Johansen and Atkinson we need threats beyond one or two players. Hopefully Hartnell, Jenner, and Anisimov can add a few goals.

Making an upgrade on Defense. I think our D-Corps is underrated, however I think that we need some improvement on the blue line, either through trade or development of young blueliners like Murray, Golo, Savard, etc.
