Has Ganger had a chance at 1-LW yet?
Early in the season he was looking great - I didnt catch much of late Nov /early Dec - did he regress?

With Voracek/Schenn on Girouxs RW all season, the 1-LW spot has mostly been occupied by Michael Raffl. They like his ability to win battles for the puck and he's very responsible defensively which allows Giroux more free reign.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we beat the Sharks in Feb 2014 - that was the first victory against them since 2000?

(We definitely have not beat them at home since 2000)

That is all correct. The lone win, since the home victory in the 2000-01 season, came in 2014 at San Jose.

Just realized how incredibly bad the Sharks have been at home this season. How is it even possible to be that much better on the road? That's weird.

Not liking our chances against SJ or LA, but this is the one they have a better shot at winning. Hopefully they come away with something to show.

Hey, Flyers fans - is it true that Brandon Manning is a poster on HFFlyers?

Too funny. He's gotta be related somehow.

With both Streit and Gostisbehere, we should score more. The offense will have a lot of support. Like when we had both Carle and Timonen.

really hoping MDZ plays and we can see what a line up of 5 quality defenders looks like. And Schenn who hasnt been playing bad at all.

Neuvirth should get the start tonight, but I've been saying that for the last nine days.

DZ is the #1 Dman on this team right now. He's a big loss for us, but he'll be back. However, having Streit back should help balance out the pairings.

I know there is a silent "by default" in your sentence, but who would have thought that Del Zotto would be the team's big minutes eater when he was acquired off the bargain bin?
