[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

It’s only two games but it’s a lot better of a feeling than being down two and it turns into four, which has happened on home ice.
So it was good to get the crowd into it, to get a couple of big goals. I think we’re still struggling to make some plays because of what’s going on.
We put some points together and if we do this continuously here I think guys will start to feel a lot better about themselves.
- Brad Richards

I think being down 3-1 we were in a tough spot, but we kept fighting and that's a good sign.
I feel like the last two games we're making some progress.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I was encouraged by more than that. I thought we came out with a real strong 1st period, our best period in a long time. We kept them to one chance and had four good chances.
Their goaltender made some good saves. In the 2nd, they took the lead on the power play and we were able to come back and tie it up.
We haven’t come back in very many situations this year and, in the third, we came back from a two-goal deficit.
Our power play scored a big goal at a key moment to tie it up for us.
- Alain Vigneault

beat an even worse team pls. not expocting a watchable hockey game. WHOOT WHOOT! LGR.

Nash on the left ? I guess AV really must be annoyed with Kreider following the benching.

Edit: Curious to see if the line shakeups finally wakes the big guns

Wow, didnt realize the Isles record was so bad.

Still expect a loss though.

Ya. I thought they were supposed to be contenders this year. Y'know because they totally almost beat the Pens in the playoffs.

They will miss the playoffs this year, and go right back to being bad. Last season was an anomaly.

How the Isles have fallen this year. Wowed by that. Thought they were poised to make a big move.

Very difficult to build up any positivity in this team right now but somewhere along the line, Hank has to step up and become dominant once again. Let's make that time tonight.

LGR!

I have a feeling the Isles will come in, dictate the play, have us on our heels until they're up 2/3-0 and then we'll try to claw back.

They'll keep it basic and have a good forecheck and we'll begin to wilt under pressure.

I hope I'm very, very wrong.

A win is what we should have against this Isles squad, but I've come to not expect anything this season.

AV needs to learn his hockey history

Alain Vigneault met with the media following Rangers practice today

On the rivalry, “I have heard about it, I watched it. I liked my first feel for it when we went to Long Island. These are great, these games here, the Original Six match ups are all games that players and fans get excited for. They are fun to be part of.â€:shakehead

I'm speechless. In fact, I'm so speechless, that I'll post about my being speechless.
