The Buffalo Sabres have dealt defenceman Jordan Leopold to the St. Louis Blues in exchange for a second round and conditional fifth round draft pick in the 2013 NHL Draft.

In 24 games with the Sabres this season, Leopold has scored two goals and added six assists.

The fifth round pick could become a fourth-rounder if the Blues win a playoff round this season.


Makes me wonder what we could get for one of our surplus defenseman.
