i think Igor needs some rhythm he should go Saturday and sit Sunday I’m sure he wants to go. No reason to give him two days off at this point. Almost better for the body to stay loose
Thinking the same thing.
He sat out for three weeks. Have him get into a little rhythm

We’re not talking like 4 / 5 days in between if he misses Saturday afternoon. But Sunday game gives him more of a proper rest and recover after a 40+ shot against effort right after coming back from a groin injury.

The audio of Sam and Joe was very weird due them not being at the game. You could hear every small utterance vividly, even some echoes after goals and Joe yelling. Was expecting to catch a fart on the broadcast. Sam's grunting as agreements with Joe were epically deep and loud, would love to get a compilation of them lol

they play again Tuesday. He just has 3 weeks off. Get him right back in sit Sunday and Monday play tuesday gets him in a rhythm. No reason to sit tomorrow

I just want to point out that for all the talk of Quinn ruining prospects, AV has Carter Hart rolling with an .869 save percentage and 4.03 GAA for the SEASON. I haven't seen numbers that bad for a started since the 80's.

It's quite shocking how bad he has been this year. Last year he was very good and a major reason for the Flyers being the 1 seed.

I gotta tell you I’m so impressed by this version of Ryan Strome. Sticking his nose in the middle of things. Becoming a man. Cut out the stupid penalties focused on being a leader and a better 200 ft player. And the points have come regardless of who he’s playing with. We need to take this guy seriously because he’s figured it out. Looks like a top 5 overall pick right now

He's been great. I used to roll my eyes at a lot of the Strome criticism, but I always viewed him as a hanger-on (just not some crappy player like some felt). But he looks great out there. I can see him having success away from Panarin. I really love this transformation.

Ryan Strome is what? A 28 points in 32 games player? Yea, the top-six is waking up now. I am having second thoughts on gutting the depth and picks for an Eichel. If Zibanejad is anything like he is right now going forward, Strome is a capable 1C on line two playing with Panarin.

Zibs's struggles really seem to be truly COVID-related. He looks completely different out there. No longer getting tired and looking like he is full of brain fog.

Love all these people saying Ryan Strome has "changed", the only thing that changed is he wasnt playing with Panarin for a stretch and now you all have no "He only gets points because of panarin" argument. The guy has been good since he arrived in NY, it's no coincidence both him and Panarin had career years last year, and yes a good part of that was because of Strome.

Getting Panarin back from his leave of absence and having Mika scoring again like the old Mika is like making two big acquisitions. And they got Shesterkin back too!

Not to mention getting Kravtsov shortly.

He may not light the world on fire, but hes been tested against men in the 2nd best league in the world and held his own.

Excited to see him in the lineup

Don't disagree.

Hes demonstrating why he was selected 5th overall. Ironically one slot ahead of Mika who no doubt is the better player but also took a few years to really break out.

Yes, a guy like Panarin helps, but Strome he represented himself very well since his acquisition

Has this been done in the playoffs before?

That Nash trade could be the best ranger trade ever. We got a first that was used on K'Andre Miller, Lindgren, and Spooner who was traded for Strome.

Now that we don't need to rigorously defend Strome as the real deal top-6 center, can we have a real discussion is would the Rangers be able to afford him after this current contract and whether he's a good center for a contender, primarily from a defensive standpoint?
