Simple trade that could work for all three teams
To Van:
Mark Scheifele 6.125mil x 2 years
Out:
JT Miller
Van 2022 2nd Round Pick
Van 2022 3rd Round Pick
To Min:
JT Miller 5.25mil x 1 year
Out:
Matt Dumba 6mil x 1 year
Min 2022 1st Round Pick
To Wpg:
Matt Dumba
Min 2022 1st Round Pick
Van 2022 2nd Round Pick
Van 2022 3rd Round Pick
Out WPG:
Mark Scheifele
Vancouver does it:
Buys 1 extra year of a number 1 center, allows flexibility to move one of Boeser/Garland for D help while keeping an elite talent up front.
Minnesota does it:
Gives them a number 1 center that can play any role. Allows them to move Fiala for cap/help elsewhere without losing an elite forward
Winnipeg does it:
Allows them to have a change of voice in the locker room, get a top 4 RHD back which they have lacked after all of Buff/Trouba/Myers left, while also recouping 2 picks to help build depth through the draft.
Little things can be tinkered here and there but I think it works out for most teams.
