This game is a perfect example of how good Lundqvist has made this team's numbers on the defensive side look every year. Not every game is this theatrical and highlight reel worthy, but without Lundqvist this defense is and generally has been mediocre.

This game does not feel like a game where we lead 5-0 in the third. Feels like a loss almost.

Imagine how you'd feel if we got pummeled 5-0, pulled Hank, then scored a couple grind-y goals to save face. I'd imagine that would feel much more like a loss.

Hank was a freak, the 3rd line was great again, I thought the 1st line looked good and created a ton of chances. Lots of breakdkwn in the D zone but Staal, Klein an Yandle were good IMO.
Far to many penalties, especially for tripping
