I have to wonder, not only does LA get him for cheap, Gabby is about to be UFA and is not coming off a banner year. But the injury is not a chronic one and people recover to 100% from a broken collarbone all of the time (my mom broke hers playing tennis, now she's back and playing 4 times a week...she's almost 70).

Maybe DL is hoping to sign him to a Carter-esque deal, longer term and cheap, and make him part of LA for the rest of the window. That could be the best thing for everyone...he seems like a good team guy on a good team.

kings have got themselves a pure goal scorer. probbaly the 2nd most dangerous forward in the kings lineup. 2nd behind carter/williams.
