Hopefully that goal gives Minnesota some great momentum heading into the second - I'd say the period has been pretty even overall with both teams getting good chances. I'm a little worried about Backstrom given he's been fighting the puck and has been bailed out twice by other players, but there are good things to take out of the first twenty minutes of play.
