[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

Tortorella taught me a lot and I owe him a lot of credit for helping me get to where I am.
- Ryan McDonagh

I think we probably got settled into that 2-1 and fooled ourselves and were back on our heels and they kept coming.
Stuff like that happens, we’ll address it. Unfortunately we can’t fix it now.
- Brad Richards

Too many guys, their execution and their compete level... we got exactly what we deserved.
We didn’t deserve to come out of here with a win and we didn’t.
- Alain Vigneault

This one will be televised in Norway at 8 pm. http://www.viasat4.no/
Competing With mens downhill and womens handball. Gonna be interesting to see the ratings, but maybe they will set a record for NHL in Norway. Obviously nothing like knitting TV or log fire TV, but anyways.

Pleeease win this one, for so many reasons.

Viasat has NHL-rights in all the Nordic countries, and all games are available live, if you pay for it.

I guess they are trying to pick up some new customers by broadcasting this game on a free channel.

Rangers usually bounce back after a tough loss. They also usually play well in fronf of Talbot

Today begins a 12 game stretch of games until the Christmas break. 11 are at home. 1 road game in Buffalo. The Rangers need to have a really good run here.

I'm expecting a big game. Can't wait for this one, I like watching the Sedins.

I'll be there sitting in the Chase Bridge seats for the second of my 6 game pack this season. I'm pumped and hoping for a good game and obviously a Rangers win! Curious to see if Torts gets a negative reaction from the crowd. I plan on giving no reaction.

Let's go Rangers!

Beaver is gonna show at Torts that he shouldn't have sat him (although he did the right thing, beaver was putrid last season). So I'm watching for beaver to go HAM.

As a Vancouverite living in NYC, I have had this game circled for months. Pre-season doesn't mean ****. Let's do this and do it big.

Need a big game from McDonagh here. If he can mess with the twins, the others will have a pretty easy task.

Vancouver runs a lot of offense from their defense. Put a lot of pressure on them. Don't give them easy shots.

When we win this game, can we lock the "How Many Players Now Regret the Tortorella Firing?" thread?

Hard to argue with that. Even if it is just a couple games over .500, the Metro division is so close right now that a hot streak could really get NYR in a comfortable position.

5-0 win and Pat Leonard will ask Torts some very annoying questions post game.
Then a meltdown.
