they're not firing cronin midseason. best hope is that someone decent becomes available in the offseason

There's a difference between being a prick and actually knowing how to run a bench. Dude can yell in the dressing room all he wants, he just f***ing stands there like a dope all game.
One of your veteran players in particular had a disgustingly sloppy and lazy first period. Then takes a completely unnecessary and lazy penalty behind their net late in the first, leading to the 3-0 goal. Do you send any kind of message to the bench that it won't be tolerated by anyone? Nope, he's right back on the ice to close out the period. Now he's probably telling reporters he doesn't know what happened or that the young guys need to be more consistent.

I thought he had a decent game for his first back from injury and having Killorn stapled to him again.
The hawks fired their coach mid season I don’t see the problem
Something tells me the kids wouldn't respect Killorn as a coach. He doesn't do anything to earn respect as a player.
I still remember that game Leo kept throwing his head back in frustration watching Killorn bungle basic passes from him.

I agree. I am getting tired of losing, I'll take those Boudreau teams that score a lot and come back late in games over this loisy piss brand of hockey. He may be old but he's never been a jerk to players and they all loved him when he was coach. I miss the way he made the team seem faster on the ice than they were because of the offensive system he put in place.
He may be 69 but he would still be better than Cronin and Eakins. Even at 80 he'd probably still be better than them.
