it's incredibly rare they try to beat a guy 1 on 1, or pull some stickhandling bullshit, or try to go wide with speed. It's all at the speed of snail and very telegraphed. I see very little jazz from either of them.

Laf can saucer pass sometimes. I've seen Kakko have *one* really nice stickhandle move in two years. Not good.

Very true on both counts. If you can't beat guys 1-on-1 sometimes and create space for yourself and linemates you probably aren't going to produce all that much.

He's been a di*k his entire adult life. He was warned and didn't have the brains or the maturity to change his behavior. This team had 2 mvp candidates last year, a 25+ goal scorer and a first and second overall pick. Bs this team doesn't have talent

Give me a break with this. This is the same team that won 37 games last year out of 70 and was competitive all year. Something is severely off. Fox, Miller, Trouba, Panarin, Zibanejad, kreider, buchnevich, two top picks, Chytil, and I can keep going. There’s no talent?

Preference for the Rangers was not to make a change mid-season. But that feeling has it’s boundaries.

I get not bringing in a new hire, but would they be opposed to handing the rest of the season over to Martin as an interim? He has the track record, and there was a decent amount of speculation when he was hired that he might have been brought in to take over in the event that Quinn shat the bed.
