The lines are starting to jell a bit, helps to keep everyone together.
They deserved this win, Fedotov was solid, but Shesterkin is kryptonite for the Flyers.
What stood out was how they were winning board battles in the D-zone, both goals started with winning the battle, making an exit pass and flip the ice.

Best game of the year for Brink and Cates. And Foerster starting to look like last season. Brink really put on a show, Foerster was winning board battles like last season, and Cates was all over the place.

This game is why Frost is frustrating, he wasn't awful, made a couple decent plays, but just didn't do much. After the previous few games was hoping he turned the corner.

If Hathaway could only finish plays, he'd be a very rich man.

York - Sanheim were solid, though I think Sanheim could use a couple days off, he's lost some burst in his skating, probably from overuse.

However, Andrae - Risto were dominant at both ends, those two have chemistry, be a shame to break them up but "make Danny an offer he can't refuse."

Grans had a solid game, don't know if he can ever be a top 4 guy, but looks like he has enough to be a solid third pair RHD with experience. But numbers may send him back to LHV when Drysdale is ready, and Zamula is out of options.

The Flyers are getting away with most of the same things they did this time last year, which is basically other teams just not being that interested in playing he entire game.

It's the same as it's been since then, the Flyers have an uncanny knack to absolutely kill teams when other teams let them breathe for even a moment.

Tippet looks like absolute dog water when he isn't scoring (and also sometimes when he is scoring) and provides nothing else, but you seemingly don't care about that.

If he were better he would get paid more, yes that is usually how it works.

It's why they turn into fodder when/if they make the playoffs, other teams are forced to take them seriously.

it seems the teams out west early in the season did, no coincidence that they seem to be better teams.

Resilience is probably the word. These players have the right mentality, and the coach deserves some credit for that.
