If he is afraid to get hit, he should be in the top 6.From what I read on the trade board, Ow can't skate at an NHL level since hurting his knee and has little hockey sense. He should fit right in.

I mostly agree and hope that he can find some traction here with this roster.I’m fine with Wahlstrom, might as well.
Just seems like they think Lysell isn’t close. Maybe I’m off base, I’m certainly not slamming my fist on the table for him, just my feeling.
He’s only 21, some guys take longer than others, but something gotta give at some point.
I'm not sure (it's a question for Dom) but if he doesn't stick with the Bruins he goes back on waivers or the Isles get him back?Skillset is there, but he never really got traction at NYI and there could be any number of reasons why that aren't related to whether or not he is a poor hockey player. Nothing lost by this move, really. If he can help, great, if not, his salary gets buried in Providence or someone else takes him on in waivers.

Hell noWould anyone do Coyle for Zibanejad?
Zibanejad is the superior player but he has is not having a good year and could be starting to decline. He's 31 with 5 more years at $8.5m while Coyle is 32 with 1 more year at $5.25, so move would be to shed cap from Rangers POV.
I don't think it's the right direction for the B's (I think they should be looking at Cozens, Mercer, guys like that), but it's also a "shake up the roster, we're not giving up on this group" type of deal I could see them trying to make.

Lysell is 21 comrade. What Went Wrong With Oliver Wahlstrom and the Islanders? - The Hockey Writers New York Islanders Latest News, Analysis & More
Given Wahlstrom has fallen from a potential 40+ goal scorer to an AHLer, it is safe to say the Islanders have not gotten what they hoped for.thehockeywriters.com

He's actually 24 but that's still young.
Good Luck to him here.

Doesnt hurt to kick the tires on an under 25 who hasnt lived up to his potential yet. Cant be any worse than the likes of Tyler Johnson's and such.He hasn’t produced at any level since he was drafted.
I don’t get the move.
As always, would love to be wrong and see the kid turn it around but his trajectory is very bad.
Sweeney strikes again !!!!!Huge fan of this move
Sorry DK. This won’t go anywhere. Far far below average skating and burst speeds is why he hasn’t hit his potential. Why ??? Sweeney?? WHY? Should look good ECHL team or whatever is below that.
