I think he's been much more confident this year than last year. Bad luck and this sucky system for sure. But if anyone on this team deserves more points for the way they're playing - it's Kakko.

He's more confident with the puck, but he needs to be more confident in making plays, I.E shooting the puck, taking it to the net.
