Not after tonight!!!He's a permanent healthy scratch on my NHL 21 roster.
It looked like JJ was poke checking the puck rode up his stick at the perfect angle to go top corner.I didn't see a deflection, maybe it did. It was a shot from the best spot you can take, sometimes goalies get beat.
And yeah, Georgie would've been roasted for that, that's my point. JJ needs to take that shot away, simple as that.
To me that's just the Pens being faster and draped all over us everywhere 85 x 200
we move through the neutral zone like we're under waterTo me that's just the Pens being faster and draped all over us everywhere 85 x 200
The puck slid up a stick and fluttered top corner. Not a soft goal.
Geo would have been roasted though. Dude exhausted all his goodwill.
Stand by it. Worst first period of the season.
We had two minutes of sustained pressure where we couldn’t even muster a shot.
There’s negative leadership on this team.
Note: they are *also* getting outplayed, badly.Again, getting outplayed is getting outplayed. It's not because we lack effort or are lazy. They're simply not fast or strong enough, at least against these Pens it seems.
I agree. Geo was flailing out there. Kincaid got beat on a deflected fluttering top corner shot. That wasn’t Kinks fault to my eyes.Geo was literally reaching low for pucks trying to stab the puck while they were launch over his glove. He took his glove out of position. He wasnt seeing the puck at all. Big difference.
I think with skaters it's fair to observe subtleties in their play etc. But with the goalie it's pretty simple, either you save the puck or you don't lol.Geo was literally reaching low for pucks trying to stab the puck while they were launch over his glove. He took his glove out of position. He wasnt seeing the puck at all. Big difference.
They're sending 2 deep on the forecheck and continuously being beaten because Pitt is faster, that's simply what's happening. Send 1 deep and have the second forechecker stay higher and angle them out to the outside or to the boards. That will slow them and their transition down through the neutral zoneOnly one way to stop that and if you don't have the horses you have to stop them in the neutral zone and play more of a counter game IMO
He does it all the time though. Like Kovalev said, he's not going to produce staying on the perimeter and firing weak wrist shots. He's gotta either get himself inside or the puck. In that scenario the passing lane was wide open to Miller and it seems like Kakko just doesn't see it there.Or he moves it to the point, the Dman flicks another weak wrister that gets blocked and Pittsburgh gets another odd man rush. I actually liked what he tried instead
LegendBill Pidto trying to be Jomboy lmao I’ve seen it all
I am behind in game because I took time to do this. Just goes to show, that Mika simply is feeling forced in his decisions (self imposed) and not allowing things to come naturally. Pass when u should shoot, and vice versa.
He could have saucered it. Or, is it sauced? Lol.
