Last one & then I have to run for supper:

A man walking along a California beach was deep in prayer. All of a sudden he said out loud, “Lord grant me one wish.” Suddenly the sky clouded above his head and in a booming voice the Lord said, “Because you have TRIED to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish”.
The man said, ‘Build me a bridge to Hawaii, so I can drive over anytime I want to.”
The Lord said, “Your request is very materialistic. Think of the logistics of that kind of undertaking. The supports required to reach the bottom of the Pacific! The concrete and steel it would take! I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of another wish, a wish you think would honor and glorify me.”
The man thought about it for a long time. Finally he said, “Lord, I have been married and divorced four times. All of my wives said that I am uncaring and insensitive. I wish that I could understand women. I want to know how they feel inside, what they are thinking when they give me the silent treatment, why they cry, what they mean when they say “nothing” and how I can make a woman truly happy.”
After a few minutes God said, “You want two lanes or four on that bridge?”


Hopefully your Boys come back in the 3rd.

I think the problem with Howden is Quinn. Quinn obviously loves his honest game and good effort and he's settled for doing his usual skate hard and accomplish nothing game to appease Quinn. He needs to have the safety net taken away from him. This is one example where a healthy scratching will light a fire under a player. He needs to understand more than just words that his career depends on excellence, energy, and some playmaking and not honesty, integrity, and valor.

1-0 game and we had a PP. But unfortunately this organization feels its ok to keep the coach that is running the PP that is contributing to the sinkage of this team.

And its not just that they didnt score on it, its how it swings momentum

His value is all about his size, the room he takes up, and how fast he closes gaps on defense, especially on the PK. He is not considered the worst in the league by the Rangers, not by a long shot.

I cannot stand the player.

At what other job does trying hard but being incompetent fly? I guess government jobs although they don't even care if you try hard.

We did this guy a huge disservice never sending him down to the AHL. With Rooney and Blackwell playing so well when Panarin comes back I hope they do it.

I think the problem with Howden is Howden. He’s a taxi squad type player. He does some things that make you like him (PK, play hard), but nothing about his game would suggest he’s worthy of hanging around on a talented team.

see how he lands on his knees still with his torso straight up and in control?

watch Georgie on breakaways. He’s falling forward on his belly every time. Never in control. I know because when I’m having a bad night and not trusting myself I do the same thing. When I’m on I’m in control. Georgie is never in control on breakaways. Tons of net to shoot or deke. He panics and lunges forward

Geo has regressed under DQ. Not only that but Shesty looks like shit under him too.
