I wonder if Laughton even has much value anymore or if that ship has sailed

Richard is a AHL plus guy, he can score, but he's awful at possession b/c he's easily bumped off the puck and is subpar defensively.
He's also going to be 28 in a few weeks.

Laughton is a mainstay on the PK, Richard would only block young wings from 5x5 and the PP.
Laughton has potential trade value, Richard doesn't.
They can only carry 13 forwards right now.

With Frost back in the lineup, they'd rather have Richard helping LHV make the playoffs

Nevermind, Torts found a way to keep Laughton into the lineup blender.

Richard shouldn’t have been sent back to Lehigh, he might have been trying to prove himself as a late bloomer but I guess producing goals doesn’t matter to John.

That’s one of the better line ups. Still hate tippet with coots or frost. But they think he’s amazing
