I find it funny though that people talk about the refs..that's international refs. That's what they do. you sneeze, you get called. That's what it is. The most surprising weren't the Gibson's or Beaudoin's call...it was the McKenna getting hammered non-call. But close to a hit like the ones they did....they are going to call it. Everytime. Even if at a NHL level, I would NOT have call a penalty at all on Beaudoin. And Gibson...well maybe I would have given a 2...maybe.

It's not a reason we lost. You beat Latvia, you play Slovakia. You are in the semi-finals.
And yet they always clamor for a physical 4th line to set the tone, only for one of those idiots to get ejected every single time without fail.
They tell these players that it's their sole job to bring the physicality and so they inevitably go out of their way to try and lay a big hit, which ends poorly to no one's surprise.

Next up: Sam Bennett at the 4 Nations

Best players for me for Canada were the top 3 they named. Though George missed the rendez-vous today I think.

But Yager, Molendyk were good. I liked Nadeau and Price too.

In the dissapointments big time list....Cowan of course. But people are missing out on Ritchie. What a terrible tournament for him. Same for Catton and Luchenko. Where were they?

McKenna? Kid is still 2 years before. He couldn't lift this team up by himself.

I rarely care who wins because the player selections for Canada are always idiotic.
There are usually some questionable picks. This year I was so turned off by the player selections and clearly wasn't the only ones from fans to even NHL teams. What's worse is that it wasn't even the player selections to the roster that were bad, it was the selection camp picks that were bad. So many talented players didn't even get a chance to tryout for the team. That's inexcusable.

Hockey Canada basically voluntarily choose to ice a C team.

Hockey Canada certainly built a well balanced team, if their goal was to build a team that couldn't score and had to win 3-2, 2-1 games.

If their goal was to not score, then....

Cameron and Co succeeded in making me hate this year's Team Canada. Another first for me. Win or lose...I love all the teams except this year.

A couple of times throughout the years I was rooting for them even when their were "hateable" like during the Lindros years for example. They were rather bully-ish if that's a word. They were hard to like but you stick by them, I guess. lol
