It was NOT a penalty. It was just a collision and there was no knee contact. i doubt that would be called in the NHL (unless one of the favored teams would get a PP).

The potential to make it to the medal round was there this year. Whether it's poor coaching, questionable team selection or very undiscipline play we fell short and it requires a lot of self reflection

I've seldom seen a worse performance on a National Team.
Even the Challenge was desperation DUMB.

Coaching challenge made no sense, it wasn't close and wasn't worth the risk.

After 2011 where poor coaching hurt us in blowing a 3-0 lead to the Russians, there was no reason why out of all the coaches who have coached Team Canada since, Dave Cameron didn't deserve to be back as coach. It made no sense then and now.

The coach is a nothing. A mannequin could have done the same job.. The selection committee are morons.

I find it funny though that people talk about the refs..that's international refs. That's what they do. you sneeze, you get called. That's what it is. The most surprising weren't the Gibson's or Beaudoin's call...it was the McKenna getting hammered non-call. But close to a hit like the ones they did....they are going to call it. Everytime. Even if at a NHL level, I would NOT have call a penalty at all on Beaudoin. And Gibson...well maybe I would have given a 2...maybe.

It's not a reason we lost. You beat Latvia, you play Slovakia. You are in the semi-finals.
