They weren't even invited to the camp to be cut. Lol Sennecke got a late invite because Cowan couldn't practice due to a minor injury. Then they cut Sennecke like 2 days later.
To me that makes it even worse. It's one thing to have them come in and then cut them. Its another to not even invite some of these talented players and give them a chance to prove management they fit with the team.

Man, Germany needed to win this game in regulation but they pulled the goalie super early.

Tied 2-2 with 2:34 left Latvia gets an ENG to go up 3-2. Germany later ties it. Now in OT.

So... if Canada wins against US they finish 1st?

Yeah, they just need to win & they finish first. Finland will be cheering on Canada as they need USA to finish with 1 pt or less (any loss) to finish 2nd. However, Finland still needs to win in regulation over Latvia, and Latvia has proven themselves to be a pain in the ass, so far.

Canada & USA can finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Finland 2nd, 3rd or 4th. Latvia 3rd or 4th.

These should all be good games.
I'm interested to see if Latvia can slow down that Finnish transition and speed through the neutral zone.
For me they were the best team I've seen at head manning the puck on our side of the table.
I haven't seen enough of Czechia and Sweden so I can't say much about their group.
It will be interesting to see how Canada does against a team who will play a far more open style of game.
Special Teams and goal tending win this one?

Unless the Czechs have another miracle in them, it looks like Sweden will top Group B. It's 4-1 Sweden at the end of 2.

Finland beat Latvia 3-0. They are momentarily 1st in Group A; however the winner of the Canada-USA game will finish 1st. Finland will want Canada to win, as that will leave them in 2nd place. A US win puts them 3rd & Canada second.

Latvia finishes 4th.

Group B

1. Sweden
2. Czechia
3. Slovakia
4. Switzerland

Kazakhstan (B) will play the relegation game against Germany (A).
