Bruins sucking and all the big 3 prospect hype has filled me with so much copium / false hope for this season.
What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.
In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerYup, if i were a GM i'd have to imagine trying to put together a bullpen would be by far the most infuriating part of the job.Releivers can also be pretty inconsistent/variable --- some years a guy is lights out, the next -- terrible.
Who knows who will be there in September?
I'm just happy for a legit starting 9 and a potentially good rotation.

Nothing about it makes sense. You could bring in the most consistent, reliable arm out there and he suddenly sucks ass. Or conversely, some bum who spent the last year in AAA inexplicably finds a new groove and is now an all-star. Edwin Diaz being the most prominent example off the top of my head. Stud one year, then gets yanked from the closer role the next.
I think teams like the Yankees and Rays have the right idea personally. It's not the stats you need to be looking at, it's the stuff. Clay Holmes was a bum until the Yankees pitching lab got a hold of him and weaponized that nasty sinker he has. Find yourself a guy who has nasty break on that, a sweeper, or a cutter and try to mold him.

Where does that leave Yoshida?
If you are short at the end of the day, I might join. I fear I will not be active enough to be competitive. I definitely will not be checking daily if I play.HF Boards Fantasy Baseball is back. If you want to join, please do! When we have enough people joined, I'll set up a draft.
