Nice team, but lot of players from North America. There is possibility, many of them will be in playoffs.
5/6 players its not a lot. Kazda is not going anyway, there are better options from Europe.

Worst thing that could happen to this team is that radivojevic and both our top goalies would be playing ushl playoffs. It would be dissapointing because at full strength this team has potential to be succesful at u18s (maybe even medal)

Back to back games vs Latvia missing most of our top players. There is a chance this team could be depleted for this tournament. Misiak, Svrcek, Radivojevic, Pradel, Henriquez. All could be out for playoffs. I am seriously concerned with that defense if Luka won’t be there to average 25-28 minutes a game. Is there a chance ozogany gets a look?

SR18: Nomination for the second phase of preparation before the World Cup, 10 players were replaced.

Jakub Habla, Marek Oboril, Tobias Ján Tabaček, Kristián Renner, Lukáš Hukel, Ondrej Šály, Adam Straka, Marcus Kršák, Adrián Raška, and Andrej Zuščák have now finished preparing for the World Championships.

Nomination:
Goalies: Hrenák, Brezáni, Čelko
Defenders: Zubek, Rusznyak, Tomaškovič, Kalman, Lisý, Capoš, Kovalčík, Jaroška, Goljer, Vajko
Forwards: Čunderlík, Novák, Tomka, Kriška, Chrenko, A. Nemec, Berčík, Polčík, Murín, Tomík, Kalis, Hybský, Dubravík, Ozogány, Kazda.

Still missing:
Goalies: Prádel (USHL - PO), Henriquez (USHL - PO) weaker teams - available soon
Defenders: Radivojevič (USHL - PO)
Forwards: Straka (QMJHL - now available), Mišiak (USHL - PO), Baláž (CZE u20 - available), Svrček (SHL PO), Chovan (fin u20 - PO - available soon)

GREAT NEWS, Radivojevic, Misiak, Svrcek, Pradel and Chovan will all be representing which means this team will be (almost) at full strength.
This team has no weakness (for slovak standards) and anything less than semifinals will be a disappointment.
Many people (mainly slovaks themself) belive that the 2007 class is overrated, i hope they will be proven wrong.

I don't want to claim to be a great expert on this Slovak team, but this seems like a bit of a bold statement to me.

Namejs say Latvia will take medal. Will be a tough bronze game between Latvia and Slovakia.

I mean this roster is much stronger than last year's and last year they made it to semifinals after beating Czechia.

8 players were underagers on that team and will be playing again.

So is it really that bold of a statement? Not sure.

I don't personally think we will do that good in the tournament. Don't like the final goalie nomination.

AND this is Latvias year anyway so whatever.

I'm not saying it can't happen, but honestly, there are teams here that are probably better on paper or at least on your level. I would write about disappointment with the team that is the favorite..
We have the strongest team in recent years, although it is not certain who will be available. I wouldn't recall last year too much, the players were supposed to go out drinking in the evenings, etc.

yea i understand your point of view, but when you have an above avarge generation and norway and latvia in your group you want more than just quarterfinals.

I understand, but if you don't finish first in your group, you'll probably come up against one of the three: Sweden, USA, Czech Republic. And in neither case will you be the favorites (unless something changes during the tournament)..
