My 1st choice is definitely Schaefer and it's not even close for me. But unless we win the lottery, it won't be happening. So other than him, i want the best center available. So it would be :

Hagens
Misa
Frondell
Desnoyers

I've seen Schaefer and Martone on some pundits' list for the U20. Hagens should be there as well. With a great performance on the big stage, Schaefer will make his case for 1OV (already is in my book). Fun times ahead with the WJR.​

He's playing 3RW for Djurgarden in the Allsven today and played just under 10 minutes for them Wednesday. Gotta hope that he's healthy from here on out.

2025 NHL Draft: Scouting reports from the Hlinka Gretzky Cup​

Eddie Genborg, RW: Genborg was on Sweden’s first line, although it acted more as a checking unit. He wants to hit everyone in sight – period. I don’t see much offensive potential but he’s hard to play against, and that’s good. He became a favorite of mine later in the tournament because while he didn’t do much with the puck, he did a lot without it – and scouts notice things like that.

Eddie Genborg (Linkoping HC J20)​

Another guy with a large, physical presence on the ice is Eddie Genborg. He is 6’2 and 185 lbs. at just 17 years old–clearly, size is his advantage. He is a heavy hitter and plays with a lot of energy. The forward has notched 27 points in 19 games with Linkoping HC this season and represented Sweden’s international junior team in the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.


While he is a playmaker, his talent lies not so much in what he does with the puck, but what he does without it– something scouts like to keep an eye out for. Eddie could be a phenomenal pickup for a team looking to build up their physicality and size.
