That Calgary pick couldn’t have been much better. The Flames could have easily finished bottom 10 and we would have gotten the Panthers pick which will be much lower. Obviously it would have been great to get pick 11 or 12 but that was really the best case perfect scenario. Pick number 16 has a decent amount of value and we’ve had some very good players picked around there.
