Crochet scares the shit out of me. Losing both Teel AND Montgomery is painful.
Teel is tough to lose, he seems like he could turn into Adley Rutschman-lite.Teel hurts because the Sox really need someone better than Wong.
I feel like with Abreu, Duran, Anthony, and Campbell, they could afford to trade someone like Montgomery.
Meidroth is probably blocked.
I still like Gonzalez, but he's probably more of a reliever.
I still want them to sign someone. This was a multi move offseason. I just can't get worked up over trading a top prospect. People lost their minds when Dombrowski traded Anderson Espinoza. It's a GMs job to make the correct evaluations/decisions on prospects. You simply don't keep all of them. Breslow better hope he got this one right though (if Breslow is even the guy making these moves). If he sucks/can't stay healthy this trade sucks.
If he's good and they (obviously) want to keep him THEY HAVE TO GIVE HIM THE SAME f***ING DEAL EVERY GOOD FREE AGENT PITCHER IS GETTING RIGHT NOW.
So just sign one of them!

In theory all of the big 4 are guys you would keep. But the percentages say maybe 2 of the 4 work out. That's what I mean by it's a GMs job to make the proper evaluations. I haven't seen any of these prospects play a single game or inning. What about a top catching prospect? Isn't that exactly who you keep?
